Wolfrun Natural Area

On July 16, 2003, Jericho Underhill Land Trust acquired the 279-acre Wolfrun Natural Area after a year and a half of intensive fund raising and widespread community involvement and support. The Wolfrun Natural Area encompasses remote cliffs, dense forest and pristine wetland. It is home to black bear, moose, bobcat and many other wildlife species. Wolfrun is the keystone property that connects essential wildlife corridors between the Green Mountains and the Champlain Valley.

This is the first purchase of land that we continue to own, bringing JULT into a whole new chapter of land stewardship. Vermont Land Trust holds the conservation easement. JULT is responsible for the day-to-day management of this biologically rich area.
